New Plans for Mojo Runners

Hollywood Pegasus’ New Home

After exercising every reasonable, humane, and legal option available to us, we were unable to find a successful treatment to The Man’s lung condition.  If you have been following his recent workouts, you’ll know that HP was training exceptionally well.  Unfortunately, during his last breeze, he bled again; and as such, we decided to retire HP from racing and we found a happy, new home for him in the Bluegrass State.

Though we didn’t reach the Winner’s Circle with HP, he was our first Mojo Runner and he certainly made us feel special.  We purchased Hollywood as a Yearling from the most prestigious sale in the world; and we showered him with the best attention, love, and care while he was in the Mojo Barn.  In return, The Man filled us with hope and rewarded us with two races—one at a premier racing venue in this country (the Keeneland Spring Meet).

I am very proud of what we created; what Mojo stands for; and what we have accomplished together since this Partnership entity was formed.  There is no doubt that horse racing is a challenging sport; and to be successful, Mojo will always put the best interests of our horses first; we will continue to be good stewards of this Industry; and we will play by the rules and push for safer/universal standards for all Runners.

Woody’s new owners plan to introduce him to a sporting career as an event horse; and I look forward to posting a few pics of his latest endeavors so you know that he will continue to be a productive member of the equine community during the next steps of his life.

Saint Brigid Continues to Prep for Her Début

We brought SB back to HighPointe Training Center because our Trainer wanted to give Our Patroness a break in the action and then some additional work over the uphill Polytrack to improve her conditioning.

Keeping in mind our objective is to race SB at the Keeneland Fall Meet, our Trainer believes pointing her toward a race in September over the European-style racecourse at Kentucky Downs will be a better suited for our plans with Sister Brigid.

So, stay tuned for the latest Mojo info in this regard….
