"We are very excited to provide this new opportunity to our Mojo Fans,” said Fred Taylor, Mojo’s CEM.  “This is the first time Mojo has offered a package concept, and we believe it includes everything you need to have a win/win participation experience:  The horses were hand picked (by Mojo's Trainer) from the Keeneland September Yearling Sale; the pricing (for the package) is very affordable; we've put together a gameplan to race at the allowance and stakes level; and we have an exit strategy if one or both of the horses don't meet the trainer's expectations."

Mojo will offer 25 shares in the new Win/Win Particpation Package for $2,000 (each).  There's an Early Bird Special, as well as flexible payment plans.  There are no monthly fees once the subscription price is paid.  The only things each person may have to pay (based on their vested percentage) are: licensing, travel/entertainment expenses, and any additional emergency medical/surgery expenses incurred related to training the horses (not to exceed the value of the horse).

You can pay with cash, certified check, or credit card.

Jackrabbit Wins!

September 12, 2012

Facing a full field in Race 10 at Remington Park on September 12, Jackrabbit Fast (4YO Gelding by Aldebaran out of My Own Lovely Lee) went to the lead and never looked back.  “On paper, Jack’s times are a step faster than the rest of the field,” reports Fred Taylor, Mojo’s CEM.  “And, fortunately for us, that’s the way the race played out.”

From the start, Jackrabbit Fast was essentially locked into a match race with the #6 horse, and the two ran together ahead of the rest all the way to the wire.  Jackrabbit out lasted all others completing six and a half furlongs in a respectable 1:18 and change.  “The opening fractions were quick (22.2),” Fred explains.  “Though I knew Jackrabbit was in good shape, the only question in my mind was, could he hang on to out finish his rivals, as well as any closers in the final furlong, and he did!”

Fred and Trainer JR Caldwell claimed Jackrabbit Fast early in the Spring Meet at Lone Star Park.  Since then (prior to tonight’s race), Jackrabbit had finished 2nd, 2nd, and 4th in a four-horse photo (respectively).  “All along, we knew this horse has the heart to win,” Fred cheerfully explains.  “And, after three very close races under the Mojo colors, I’m so proud that he got it done for us tonight!”

Jackrabbit is a gutsy horse that tries hard every time he steps foot on the racetrack.  Fred says, “I give a lot of credit to JR and his Team—they’ve provided an incredible amount of TLC to compliment Jack's efforts by getting him in tip-top shape, keeping him healthy, and finding the right spots to maximize his potential.  Their passion and good horsemanship makes for a winning combination.”
