Mojo's Ready For Spring Racing
After a long winter break, Mojo Thoroughbred Holdings, LLC is getting ready for a fantastic racing season at Lone Star Park.
"We're starting things off with the 2013 with the Fasig-Tipton Texas Two-Year-Olds In Training Sale on April 3, and then we're going to roll right into the Spring Meet at Lone Star which begins on April 11," reports Fred Taylor (Mojo's CEM).
Mojo entered two colts into the TX 2YOs In Training Sale, and is simultaneously preparing for the upcoming race meet at Lone Star Park.
"So far, everything is going according to plan," Fred says. "All winter we've been putting together a very low priced participation package that bundled together Yearlings purchased from the Keeneland September Yearling Sale last fall. We deliberately set the share prices at acquisition cost and called the package Win/Win because that's what we believe we can deliever - success no matter how you slice it."
Mojo's on a mission is to help people become active participants in the sport of Thoroughbred racing. To do that, the opportunity has to be affordable and the strategy has to include multiple options to achieve the desired results.
"We're doing this to give people a reasonable chance to have a winning experience," Fred explains. "And, if it works out they way we've planned, then this group should be in a good position to have a lot fun once racing begins."
