Noshameatall at Remington Park
Going from post #5, the race is for 2YOs, 5.5 furlongs on the dirt. There are 11 other horses going forward.
"We're excited to be back in action at Remington Park," exclaims Fred Taylor, Mojo's CEM. "I really like their racing program, their service, and their facilities. Including Noshameatall, we'll have several Mojo horses running at Remington this year, and we're looking forward to having lots of fun throughout the meet."
Trained by JR Caldwell, Noshameatall made his debut at Lone Star Park back in June. And, despite a troubled trip in the far turn, the Chestnut Gelding by Notional out of Misty Weave demonstrated impressive acceleration coming down the stretch to catch up with the front runners at the wire. “He showed us some very good things in his first start,” reports Fred Taylor, Mojo’s CEM. “Particularly, he has a competitive spirit and a good turn of foot. And, because we had been working him regularly since February, we decided that first effort was enough (for the time being) and to give him a little break before for the start of the Remington Meet.”
Noshameatall was purchased at the 2012 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, and he looks to be competitive in this upcoming race.
“I don’t think the result of his first race is an accurate reflection of his ability—he got boxed in at the quarter pole coming around the turn, and he lost his stride,” Fred explains. “Once free at the top of the stretch, he rallied and was quickly gaining in the final furlong. Unfortunately, there was too much ground to make up before the finish. If he gets a clean trip this time, I’m hoping we’ll get to see his afterburner kick in coming down the lane.”
