Mojo Racing Partners is pleased to announce that Jackrabbit Fast has been entered to race at Remington Park (RP) on Wednesday, August 29!

“We’ve been patiently waiting (and waiting) for the right conditions since the beginning of the meet,” said Fred Taylor, Mojo’s CEM.  “It finally came around for us when the racing office brought back an extra that we had our eyes on in the book.”  (The race was initially listed in the condition book; it wasn’t used when the original entries closed; but the race was placed as an extra and utilized for the following race day.)

Jackrabbit Fast is a four-year-old gelding by Aldebaran out of My Own Lovely Lee; he is entered in Race 1; going out of Post Position #6.

“Between races, JR (Caldwell) and his Team have been doing a great job getting Jackrabbit ready,“  Fred reports.  “In the last race, we bumped Jackrabbit up in company, and he did just fine.  So, we’re moving up the food chain again a little bit more this time to see how he does.”

There are six other horses entered, several are class droppers, and a couple that have competed in stakes races.  “This won’t be a cake walk for us by any stretch of the mean,” Fred admits.  “Nevertheless, we’re bringing our ‘A game’ on Wednesday.”

What’s your impression of Remington Park so far?  “Remington is a fantastic facility that offers a very attractive product at this time of the year in this part of the country—that’s why Mojo’s here, as well as a lot of other trainers and owners,” Fred explains.  “Everyone I’ve meet has been friendly and seems to be genuinely interested in providing a great Customer experience.  I dig what they’re doing, and I’m happy to be racing at RP!”
