Mojo Racing Partners is pleased to announce that Jackrabbit Fast has been entered to run in the night cap at Remington Park (RP) on Wednesday, September 12.

“This one’s for night owls,” quips Fred Taylor, Mojo’s CEM, about the 10:46 p.m. CT post time.  “We’re going to give Gino (Buccola) something to talk about on Race Night (TVG).”

Jackrabbit Fast is a four-year-old gelding by Aldebaran out of My Own Lovely Lee; he is entered in Race 10; and will be going out of Post Position #9.

“Jackrabbit makes every race exciting,“ Fred explains.  While racing under the Mojo colors, Jackrabbit has finished 2nd, 2nd, and 4th respectively.  “Jack’s always in it at the top of the stretch.  The last time out, he finished in a tight four-horse photo—only ¾ of a length behind the winner.”

For Race 10 on September 12, there are 12 horses entered.  “I have a lot of respect for the race cards that RP is putting together,” Fred acknowledges.  “Five of the ten races have 11 or more horses entered (including the last four).  The other races on the card average 7.8 runners per field.  That’s pretty dang good on a school night.”

Any thoughts about the competition Jackrabbit will face?  “With that many horses, anything is possible, and I like our chances,” Fred says.  “If you believe in the speed figures and past performance metrics, then Jackrabbit matches up favorably—I’m looking forward to another thrilling race!”
