March 2008

Greetings from the World Wide Mojo Headquarters!

Bidding a welcome adieu to an abominable winter, our Mojo Runners are getting ready for some fantastic racing action this Spring.

Hollywood Pegasus

After an exceptional debut and solid followup workout, we are now preparing Hollywood Pegasus to live up to his two-turn pedigree.  Our Trainer John Good is teaching him to relax and rate behind the pace, then make his run at the top of the stretch.  Woody is doing very well with this type of training, and he continues to post impressive times in his morning works.  Our goal is to have HP ready to run for the Keeneland Spring Meet.

Saint Brigid

Our Patroness Filly is back in training, and she began her Racehorse 201 this month at Diamond D Ranch.  Saint Brigid is getting bigger and better every day, and she’s showing a lot of promise for our Partnership.  In April, she’ll start breezing each week, and in May, she’ll be trained to run from the gate.  If all goes well, in June, Sister Brigid will be sent to Kentucky to join The Man at HighPointe Farm and Training Center for the next steps in her racing career.

Mojo Headliner

Our friends at The Texas Thoroughbred Association spent some time with Mojo Racing Partners, and Shelby Downs wrote a wonderful article that captures the Esprit de Corps of our fun-loving Partnership.  Thank you Shelby and the TTA!

Become A Partner!

Time is running out, and the stakes are rising to join Mojo Racing Partners!  We still have a few interests left in Saint Brigid.  The current offering for a 5% Interest is $2,000.  Once Sister Brigid's initial training in Texas concludes and she is sent to Kentucky, the price to participate will increase to $3,000.
